Every day, 850 kids enter the foster care system in the US because they cannot live safely at home. That’s enough kids to fill two elementary schools or 425 camp bunks. Enough kids to field 70 soccer teams.
As a CASA volunteer or supporter, you understand the vital role CASA advocates play in the lives of our nation’s most vulnerable abused and neglected kids. This year, more than 200 CASA advocates will serve 430 kids who have been abused or neglected through CASA of Johnson & Wyandotte Counties. But with 3 more children for each one served, there simply aren’t enough CASA advocates to go around.
By joining the Forgotten Children Campaign, you can help close the gap by raising money to put a trained, committed advocate into the life of a local child who needs a safe, permanent home.
